Once you have found your aim or have an understanding of it, the next important tip would be to work on your golf stance and posture.
Now, a golf swing is a very athletic motion; and will require some balance as well as a good base in your lower body. A good base starts with setting your feet shoulder width apart. Next, bend at the knees slightly to where it is comfortable for you. Not so far down you are basically sitting but, a light shallow squat. Tilt at your hips leaning slightly forward while keeping your spine straight. Then, you are there!
