The King of Golf

One of the most iconic golfers in history is Arnold Palmer. He is not only he king of golf, but he brought fans and helped grow the sport. He built up a wide fan base, often referred to as “Arnie's Army”, and in 1967 he became the first man to reach one million dollars in career earnings on the PGA Tour. Palmer is acknowledged for bringing golf into the mainstream and making it popular with people outside of country clubs.
